Regent Park Public School is offering a very unique opportunity for the students in the Orillia area, the Extended French as a Second Language Program. Our school is the only one in Orillia, where a student is able to continue their regular curriculum programming at the elementary school level, where not only French as a Second Language classes, but also Visual Arts, Drama and Music as well as Social Studies, Geography, History are taught in French. This particular programming provides many advantages, when it comes to learning a Second Language and it is continued on later at an advanced Level at Twin Lakes Secondary School.

We are HOPING to offer Ojibway language next year, but for this year are running a weekly optional First nation, Metis and Inuit cultural awareness program- all students are welcome- Tuesdays at second break.
